The Human Resource in any Organization/Institution is key to the success of the institution. The Directorate of Human Resource at the University of Cape Coast manages the human resource of the University to achieve its core mandate.

Mission of the Directorate
To position the Directorate of Human Resource, as an equal opportunity service oriented provider, to ensure that services rendered and information flow are par excellence, regular and timely. The Directorate further seeks to ensure that qualified personnel are employed, developed and their welfare services well catered for to make the University of Cape Coast, the preferred choice for all staff.

- Recruit and train adequate, qualified and highly motivated Staff.

Sections Within the Directorate
The Directorate of Human Resource (DHR) is headed by a Director and assisted by Senior/Assistant/ Junior Assistant Registrars. It has five sections and a Unit, namely;
