All new staff are required to participate in the New Staff Orientation Programme, which provides:
- An overview of the University’s mission, vision and values.
- An introduction to policies, procedures and workplace expectations.
- Guidance on accessing the University’s facilities and resources.
- Opportunities to meet colleagues and network with other new staff.
Details about the orientation schedule will be communicated to you by the Directorate of Human Resource.
· As a new staff, please ensure you complete the following onboarding tasks:
- Submit all required documents (e.g., personal particular forms, medical reports, bank details, social security number, passport sized photo, identification documents) to the Directorate of Human Resource.
- Register for staff identification card and email account at the Management Information Systems Section. Alternatively, you can contact the HRIS Unit of the Directorate of Human Resource for assistance.
- Familiarize yourself with your department and meet your Head of Department.
- Read policy documents provided by the University for detailed information about your rights, benefits and responsibilities as a staff of UCC.
