Congratulations on your appointment! The Directorate of Human Resource is delighted to welcome you to the UCC family. Here are some key resources and information to help you transition smoothly into your new role.

Orientation Programme

 

All new staff are required to participate in the New Staff Orientation Programme, which provides:

  •    An overview of the University’s mission, vision and values.
  •    An introduction to policies, procedures and workplace expectations.
  •    Guidance on accessing the University’s facilities and resources.
  •    Opportunities to meet colleagues and network with other new staff.

Details about the orientation schedule will be communicated to you by the Directorate of Human Resource.

 

Onboarding Checklist

 

·       As a new staff, please ensure you complete the following onboarding tasks:

 

  • Submit all required documents (e.g., personal particular forms, medical reports, bank details, social security number, passport sized photo, identification documents) to the Directorate of Human Resource.
  • Register for staff identification card and email account at the Management Information Systems Section. Alternatively, you can contact the HRIS Unit of the Directorate of Human Resource for assistance.
  • Familiarize yourself with your department and meet your Head of Department.
  • Read policy documents provided by the University for detailed information about your rights, benefits and responsibilities as a staff of UCC.
  • Populate your details on the staff directory ().
